Yes! Reading and publishing on Riwayti is completely free. Simply create an account and start exploring thousands of stories.

Our platform fully supports Arabic (including Algerian dialect), French, and English. Stories can be written in any language, and our interface is available in both Arabic and French.

Open any book page and click "Reading", "Want to Read", or "Finished". The book will be saved to your personal library, which you can access from your profile at any time.

Yes! When you open a chapter, your progress is saved automatically. Next time you visit the book page, you'll see a "Continue Reading" button that takes you right back to where you left off.

Your reading streak counts how many consecutive days you've read at least one chapter. Keep reading every day to build your streak and see it displayed on your profile!

Go to your profile page and find the "Reading Goal" card. Enter the number of books you want to finish this year and click "Set Goal". Your progress bar will update automatically as you finish books.

On any book page, click the "Notify Me" button (bell icon). You'll receive a notification each time the author publishes a new chapter.

Any registered user can become an author. Go to your account settings and enable "Author Mode". Once activated, you'll have access to the author dashboard where you can create and manage your books.

From your author dashboard, click "New Book", fill in your book details (title, description, genre, cover), then start adding chapters. Each chapter can be saved as a draft or published immediately for readers to enjoy.

Yes. From your author dashboard, open the book and click on any chapter to edit it. You can update the content, change its status back to draft, or delete it entirely. Readers with saved progress will be notified if a chapter is removed.

The blue checkmark (✓) badge is awarded to authors whose identity or notable work has been verified by our team. To apply for verification, contact us with details about your work and social presence.

Yes. All published content must comply with our Terms of Service. Content that includes hate speech, explicit adult material without proper tagging, plagiarism, or illegal material will be removed and may result in account suspension.

Go to Settings from your profile page. You can update your display name at any time. Usernames can be changed once every 30 days.

In Settings, click on your current avatar or the upload area, then select an image from your device. We support JPG, PNG, and WebP formats up to 2MB.

On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox.

Account deletion can be requested from the Settings page under the "Danger Zone" section. Please note that deleting your account is permanent — all your books, library, and activity will be removed and cannot be recovered.

Click the moon/sun icon in the top navigation bar to toggle between light and dark mode. Your preference is saved in your browser automatically.
